I honestly sort of knew something was really not right with my body.
So after undergoing a bunch of tests, I wasn’t just completely stunned to learn that I had cancer.
That didn’t make facing the future any easier but at least I wasn’t caught completely off guard. What did help me face the future was being able to rely on medical marijuana that I get from the legal weed store. Before my doctor turned me over to the oncologists and surgeons, she laid out just how to get a medical marijuana card. I was still sort of struggling to fully process all the information but she was adamant that I get access to a cannabis dispensary. And she was right. I did just what I needed to do to navigate the marijuana regulations before I started treatment. The cannabis products have been instrumental as I work toward ridding my body of cancer and getting to remission. Primarily, I use the cannabis flower products to help me battle the nausea that comes with the chemotherapy. Using the medical cannabis allows me to fight the nausea from the treatments while helping me with appetite as well. Making sure that I get important vitamins and nutrients from healthy food is imperative to my healing process. Yet, I’m also thankful for the cannabis flower products for another medical marijuana benefit. And that is the benefit of feeling hopeful and positive while I fight the biggest challenge of my life. So I’m just so thankful to be living in a region where I’m able to have access to a legal weed store. Without cannabis flower products, this fight for my health and life would be far tougher and much less comfortable.
