I love my job working at the Cannabis dispensary, but I would never want to work there for free.

I want to make sure that I am going to get paid every day that I show up for work.

In order to get paid, I have to log into the scheduling system online. Each one of the computers up front have access to the scheduling system software. There’s a small tab in the corner of the computer that allows me to access the system. I have a special six digit number code that is unique to me. To be honest, it’s the last six digits of my social security number. I enter the number into the computer and then it shows a green button next to my name. The green button means I am working in the cannabis shop and getting paid for those hours. I entered my six digit number and to the computer and the green button did not show up. I tried three or four times and then I gave up and went to find the manager in the stock room. She was opening up boxes of cannabis concentrate. I told her that I was having trouble accessing the time keeping software. She told me to sit in the office and call the IT department. I sat down at the desk and she dialed the phone. I waited three or four minutes and then someone came to the line. The timekeeping software specialist told me to go to the computer where the problem was occurring. I watched the IT guy fix the problem right in front of my eyes.
