From the jail cell to the cannabis dispensary

Are you familiar with the actor Danny Trejo? Now is a well known actor, in hundreds of movies and TV shows, most notably Heat, Breaking Bad, and Machete.

Back in the day he was a criminal and a felon.

With such a violent and checkered past, he was hired as a consultant for a crime movie. That was how he got his foot in the door, and a few years later was a successful actor. It’s possible to take a bad past and use it for a good cause. This is what I have done as a security consultant for a major chain of cannabis dispensaries. I used to be a criminal, and I have spent several years in prison, and now the cannabis dispensary owners trust me to protect them from other crooks. I will never be as rich and famous as Danny Trejo, but I am proud that I was able to follow in his footsteps and use my knowledge and history to protect these cannabis shops. The way that most cannabis dispensaries are set up provides natural protection from shoplifting. Most of the valuable items at the cannabis shop are behind the counter, where they can’t be swiped. The more clear and present danger are the people who act like regular cannabis customers during the day to “case the place” and then come back at night to rob it. I have started instituting small changes in the daily protocols for the local cannabis dispensaries, to help protect both the inventory and the great people who work there.
