My typical doctor couldn't prescribe medical marijuana.

Since medical marijuana was now legal in our state, I wanted to talk to my doctor and see if he could advise it for me, and he told me not only couldn’t advise medical marijuana, but he wouldn’t.

He didn’t feel marijuana was safe for anyone, and i told him I learn a lot about marijuana, and it had a lot of medicinal properties, and my doctor was getting older, and I was sure he knew all about marijuana. He was from the era where they believed in peace, love, and getting high. My generation believed in peace, cherish and harmony. Most of us had no complication with people getting high, although I wished it was legal, but using medical marijuana would give me the same relaxation and calming effect as street marijuana, however it would be legal. I asked my doctor why he didn’t guess in medical marijuana! When he said it took away from the profession of medicine, and had people diagnosing themselves, he knew it was wrong, and you had to have a physician help you get medical marijuana, so where did the idea of people diagnosing themselves come from? I told him I thought he was wrong, and he shrugged. He said everyone had their right to their personal opinions, and I asked him what he thought of medical marijuana. I finally found a doctor who specialized in pain management who would help me get the marijuana ID card. He suggested me to a colleague who was sanctioned by the state to help people get their medical marijuana ID card. I thanked my pain management doctor.
