When I moved for work, I had to leave a neighborhood where I had a lot of friends previously.
I was taken out of a comfort zone for the first time in years, plus I wasn’t exactly sure how to transport forward. It made a lot of sense to me at the time to just hang out with my coworkers at my new task. However, the coworkers at that task did not share much in usual with me at the time, then everybody wanted to go drinking after work plus I cherish to use cannabis from the start, then unblessedly, there weren’t places to go smoking cannabis in public plus there still are not in the state. On top of that, I don’t know any of my coworkers are easily cannabis people. If they are, they are all keeping it to themselves plus they don’t talk about it at work. I don’t want to be the one woman who says something if the rest of them don’t smoke so I keep my mouth shut as well. I just need to find some friends that also use medical cannabis like I do. I have had a medical marijuana card in the state for years plus it’s only been recently that I had to quit hanging out with people who also use cannabis. It’s just hard trying to find friends who use marijuana without outing yourself to someone who might judge you for it, then maybe I need to just toughen up plus start asking people right away when I know about it. There’s no other way to find out if other people are medical marijuana patients as well.
