I wasn’t happy when the realtor told us there was a cannabis dispensary in our area.
When I found out there was a cannabis dispensary across the street from our home, I was even less happy.
I tried to get out of the sale, but I was sitting at the table. They opened the cannabis dispensary after the last time we went to the house. I had three young children. I didn’t want a cannabis dispensary across the street. The lawyer agreed with me, but he wanted to check something out. He asked me to wait in the meeting while he talked to the realtor. I could hear the realtor denying that she knew anything about the cannabis dispensary. She said she would have disclosed the information. The lawyer muttered something about it being common knowledge for almost a year. He was sure she had to have known something about the cannabis dispensary. He realized the door was open and closed it. Fifteen minutes later, he re-entered the room and sat down. The realtor came in behind him. He nodded and she apologized for the miscommunication. She had another condo that was in an area where the nearest stores were blocks away, but still within walking distance. The condo was a new community that was built by the owner of the real estate agency. Although it was more than I wanted to pay, she would sell it to me for the same price I had agreed on. The condo had four bedrooms and three bathrooms. I wanted to look at it first, but it sounded perfect for me.
