It is genuinely discouraging to have a bunch of bills & no cash to spend money them, and it’s even more discouraging when you are supposed to have cash to spend money them & it does not come to the bank… That’s what happened to me last Thursday when I was supposed to receive my spend money from the marijuana dispensary where I work, then last month, the marijuana dispensary hired a brand current payroll supplier to handle all of the employee & management payroll & accounting.
The payroll supplier was supposed to make it easier to keep track of hours & pay. I like the current system much better, because I can certainly clock in & out using the ipad & it takes about 3 seconds. In the past, my associate and I used to chase down the manager & have his write our time down so he could manually enter it into the system later. The payroll supplier for the marijuana dispensary was supposed to make things easier, however it’s only managed to make things more difficult. Last Thursday, I was supposed to get paid & I was anxiously awaiting the cash to hit my banking account. I have direct deposit & this was the week that direct deposit was set up, then when I did not have any funds at the bank, I was legitimately frustrated. I went to the store expecting to choice up a check. The manager informed me that there was no check, only a direct deposit slip. The manager told me that I needed to contact the payroll supplier, although I sat in his office until he made the call herself.
