Once upon a time I was a struggling pot dealer.
On paper I worked for a greenkeeper crew, and spent 8 to 10 hours a day mowing lawns and trimming hedges.
This job did not pay me enough money to support the lifestyle I wanted to have, so I used my knowledge of plants and botany to start growing cannabis in my garage. After that I started to cut down on my hours at work, so I would have more time to package and sell my marijuana. Selling weed pays a lot better than pulling weeds, you feel me? Still, selling cannabis had more downsides than up, because the money was better, but there were no benefits or paid days off. When I had the opportunity to apply for a budtender job at the new cannabis dispensary I jumped at the chance. I wasn’t selling cannabis because it was easy, I was doing it because I love it! I smoke cannabis, I always have it around me, so it’s only natural that I turn it into a profession. Now I can ply my skills and my deep knowledge of cannabis to the general public, and help people find the products they need. All cannabis is not the same, my friends, different strains have different effects on the body and the mind. A skilled budtender with a rich experience of smoking cannabis is like a sherpa, guiding people to the mountain they seek. That may be a bit poetic, but I always get this way when I smoke too much Purple Haze.
