Retirement has been good for me.
I worked for thirty five years for the city, and took my retirement as soon as I could.
I was so weak and tired, and I felt like I needed to rest or I would die on the job. I came to learn that the job is what was killing me, because since I retired I have felt better than I can ever remember. I exercise more, I socialize almost every day, and in general I live a life without stress or hardship. I know how lucky I am! Just when I thought things couldn’t get better, they opened a cannabis dispensary three blocks away from my beachside apartment. Now as a part of my daily exercise I can put on my hand weights and walk over to the cannabis dispensary to pick up a sampling of various buds and edibles. Variety is the spice of life, and since I got such a late start with cannabis I try to taste as many as I can. Why buy the same kind of cannabis every week when there are so many to choose from? I could easily stick with OG Kush for the rest of my life and never get bored with it. If I had done that I never would have discovered Purple Haze, or Blue Dream, or any one of a hundred other strains I have tried. I am glad the computer database at the cannabis dispensary keeps track of all the different brands I have tried already, because my old brain would never be able to remember them all.
