Halloween is my favorite holiday during the year.
Some people love Christmas, Easter, or the 4th of july, but Halloween takes the cake for me.
A lot of my neighbors take the holiday very seriously. They put out decorations, lights, and animatronics. I’m lucky to live in a neighborhood where people want to celebrate Halloween like it is a major holiday. My friends and I decided to go see a movie this year for halloween. Down at the cinema plex, they were showing the old version of the Texas Chainsaw massacre. My friends and I planned to go to see the movie. My girlfriend was worried that she would be scared, but I told her not to worry, because I would be right there. Before the horror flick began, all of my friends and I got high in the parking lot. We smoked a marijuana joint that we bought at the dispensary. It was a special Halloween strain with a cool scary name. The hybrid strain was a mix of Girl Scout cookies. Everyone smoked some of the joint before we went into the theater. My girlfriend smoked some too, even though she doesn’t usually smoke recreational marijuana. She was high and giggling before the movie even started. My girlfriend laughed through most of the movie. During the scenes that were supposed to be scary, she held onto my arm as tightly as possible. We had a lot of fun that night. It was really neat and interesting to watch a movie from the ’70s on the big screen. It kind of made me feel like I was transported back to the 1970s.
