Normally when Janet makes a plan, it’s flawless.
That is the reason we always put her in charge of the annual “friend-aversary.” Our whole crew from the college years will get together for one weekend, usually someplace very remote.
This allows us the time and privacy to catch up on old times, rekindle old flames, and party like we used to! Jante is really great with organizing things, so she always makes sure we have enough beer, wine, whiskey, and cannabis. There are other drugs too, but that’s more of a BYOD “bring your own drugs” situation. We all know that cannabis isn’t really a drug though, right? Cannabis is a wonderful and medically beneficial plant that we use to get stupid high! Which is why we were all so disappointed when Janet booked us a cabin with a strict “no smoking” policy. I know it was intended for tobacco, but it also applies to cannabis, so unless we wanted to pay a huge cleaning fee we couldn’t get stoned inside. Ever the planner, Janet had fortunately brought a few boxes of brownie mix, so we decided to make some pot brownies. What we didn’t know was that Ed had brought a baggie filled with magic mushrooms” which he ground up and mixed into the pot brownie batter. That night we got so stoned, and tripped so hard, because it seems the cannabis and the psychedelic mushrooms worked together in synergy to send us all over the moon! In the end Janet made up for her mistake, and we all had a killer time.
