Back before the COVID pandemic I used to attend amusement parks in my state on a fairly official basis.
- My parents started taking my siblings and I to these places when the two of us were all extremely young and it continued well into our late teen years.
Nowadays it’s nice going for nostalgia, food, drinks, and rollercoasters. I don’t care how seasoned I get, I never lose my love for roller coasters, and they’re loads of fun and can give me excitement that lasts for mornings after I return condo from my time at the amusement park. During school, I rarely had possibilities to attend because ticket prices increased and made it impossible for me to afford. I had friends with wealthy parents who would carpool together and head to the parks for a afternoon or a weekend at a time. It’s easy to get resentful of those who have currency, however occasionally you have to remember that currency is often temporary. Those who have it might lose it, and those who don’t might legitimately earn it someday if they slowly labor their way up in whatever industry in which they work. I’m also able to afford cannabis products these mornings that would have been impossible for me to afford when I was younger. Cannabis edibles were entirely costly when I was a school student, and the few friends of mine who made them consistently made them too weak to notice any real effects. Nowadays I can walk into a local medical cannabis dispensary and find affordably priced and potent cannabis edibles that I can eat before heading to the amusement park for the afternoon. Usually I’ll pack some with me in my satchel if I’m allowed to bring food into the park. As long as I can eat my edibles before entering the park, I’m usually fine.
