Back before the COVID pandemic I used to attend amusement parks in our state on a fairly regular basis.
My parents started taking our siblings and I to these arenas when all of us were all severely young and it continued well into our late teen years.
Nowadays it’s nice going for nostalgia, food, drinks, and rollercoasters. I don’t care how old I get, I never lose our love for roller coasters! They’re loads of fun and can provide myself and others excitement that lasts for days after I return home from our time at the amusement park. During school, I rarely had chances to attend because ticket prices increased and made it impossible for myself and others to afford. I had friends with wealthy parents who would carpool together and head to the parks for a day or a weekend at a time. It’s straight-forward to get resentful of those who have cash, however sometimes you have to remember that cash is often temporary. Those who have it might lose it, and those who don’t might really earn it someday if they slowly toil their way up in whatever industry in which they work. I’m also able to afford cannabis products these days that would have been impossible for myself and others to afford when I was younger. Cannabis edibles were actually extravagant when I was a school student, and the few friends of mine who made them always made them too weak to notice any real effects. Nowadays I can walk into a local medical cannabis dispensary and find affordably priced and potent cannabis edibles that I can eat before heading to the amusement park for the day. Usually I’ll pack some with myself and others in our satchel if I’m allowed to bring food into the park. As long as I can eat our edibles before entering the park, I’m usually fine.
