I expected the woman to look like a gypsy.

There is something mumbo-jumbo, and hush-hush when people think about holistic health.

When I talked to my mother about trying a holistic health approach to life, she made an odd face and grumbled.

She told me that holistic health was something that witches and gypsies practiced. I knew my mom was getting old, but I didn’t think she was ancient and so superstitious. I had been doing a lot of research into holistic health. The subject fascinated me, and I wanted to learn more. I wanted to go to a class that discussed holistic health. When I found the name of a woman who lived close to me and practiced holistic health, I called her. She invited me over to her house, and I gladly accepted the invitation. Unfortunately, I also expected the woman to look like a gypsy when I arrived. Little did I know she was going to be just a few years older than me and look extremely normal. She had on jeans and a T-shirt that had a marijuana leaf on the front. She explained holistic health approaches and how it could help people with cancer. Through meditation, usage of marijuana, and yoga, she was sure that she could help anyone feel better. I liked this woman and asked her where she got her information from and what school she attended. When she told me she attended the community college, it shocked me. I knew I was going to head down to the local college in the morning and sign up for classes on holistic health lifestyles.
