My family is full of people with one health problem or another. My parents individually have issues that many people never deal with. My mother has severe Crohn’s Disease while my father gets on average 15 to 20 kidney stones every single year. They’re both in and out of the hospital dealing with their respective health conditions and the complications that arise. We have all expected my mother’s decline in her health because she spent a few years being mostly bed bound while I was in junior high and went back and forth in quality of health over the years. It’s horrible that she’s bed bound again, but it was our dad’s decline in health over the past few years that surprised us more than anything else. He always seemed like he was tough as an ox and could take on the world regardless of his age. But within the course of three years he went from feeling great to almost needing a wheelchair just to get around. He uses it in places where he’d otherwise be required to stand for an hour or longer. Thankfully he has access to quality CBD products and is able to get relief from his pain for certain periods of time throughout the day and night. My mother just recently started consuming CBD and hemp products and she said her physical pain has been greatly diminished as well. She’s now interested in trying other cannabis products after having such a good first experience with CBD and hemp specifically. She might find that THC works wonders for her like it does for me.
