I will never forget what it was like to be alive 30 years ago when people were still smoking indoors at a huge number of indoor areas.
Decades before that, passengers smoked cigarettes on airplanes! The thought of that nowadays is horrifying, as I’d constantly worry that the cigarette’s fire would ignite the oxygen in the air.
I certainly was exposed to an enormous amount of second hand smoke as a child. When my mother was still with my father back then, she would smoke around my sibling and I without any bit of hesitation. Even after she left my biological father and then moved in with my dear old step father, she smoked as well. That meant the people I was with and I were exposed to smoke since the beginning and it didn’t stop until I got to university. However, several of my wise friends in university smoked as well so they would smell like cigarettes half of the time. One thing I remember about traveling with a smoker is that you certainly can’t smoke in the airport. Maybe you could do this back in the day, but there are absolutely no smoking rooms at the local airport here in my city. Since you can’t vape or attempt to smoke nicotine products, you sure as hell can’t use medical marijuana products in the airport. This is why I travel with cannabis gummies and tinctures when I need to get through security and avoid getting in trouble for using my legal, physician prescribed medical marijuana products. Even if I need to medicate for my painful ailments, that still doesn’t provide myself and others the right to smoke cannabis once I’m inside of an airport of all arenas.
