For years, I had been plagued with depression; Sometimes I would not get out of bed for days on end, because of the depression, my marriage was on the rocks, & my baby was suffering from my lack of caring… I was sending my child to daycare, so I didn’t need to take care of him when my spouse wasn’t at home.
I finally talked to the dentist & told him his traditional way of treating depression was only making it worse.
I needed to get rid of the depression or, at the honestly least, get it under control, however he said there was no cure for depression, but with some counselling on how to control it, & some natural medicine, I may keep it well-controlled. I was curious about the natural medicine he spoke of, then when he said I could try medical marijuana, I thought he was crazy, even though he said it was almost a miracle medicine. Medical marijuana could help myself and others handle the depression & become a section of the world again. If it made myself and others a better mother & saved my marriage, I would try anything, including medical marijuana. I told my spouse what the dentist said, & he was so glad, he nearly cried. He wanted his spouse back, & the two of us sat down to fill out all the paperwork for medical marijuana, then thankfully, my dentist had the credentials to get my medical marijuana card for me, which made the process less fancy! After a couple of months of marijuana therapy, I was feeling like myself and others again. I was becoming a better mother, & my marriage seems to be improving.
