I can remember when I could hardly go a day separate from dabbling in some form of art, and when I was in school, I studied Visual Arts.
- But regrettably, I let other people dissuade me from making that a career.
So I changed our major to graphic design so I could get a job. Well, I did that and I have been laboring for nearly seven years at some job. A recent trip to the cannabis dispensary has me looking at things a bit differently now. While I was in school, various of our classmates and me enjoyed using recreational marijuana. Not only was it a way to relieve stress from school. But using cannabis was also part of having such great creative energy. So a neighbor of mine came to town who uses sativa products and invited me to get something for myself. I chose an edible hybrid strain. That night, I enjoyed an epiphany of sorts. I am sure thankful to have a job and a great living however I just do not like trading that for our art. There’s a void in our heart since I abandoned our passion. I saved half the hybrid strain edible for the next day. And I felt even more strongly that I wanted to pursue our art. I am thankful for that trip to the cannabis dispensary because I think what is important to me. I’ll do our best to work however I am also going to dedicate our creative energy to our art. And the trips to the local cannabis spot are just the motivation and perspective that I need to stay committed. a
