Eight years ago I had an epiphany about changing my body and improving my health.
I was going out with a friend for dinner, and I had a hard time squeezing myself into his car.
I actually had to sit in the back seat, because I could not fit in the front. This was embarrassing for me, and made me take a closer look at my weight gain. Soon after that I joined a gym and started taking the steps to lose weight. My body is in better shape than ever before, but it’s still not enough. I still need to make changes to my mind, and the way I think about things, because holistic health is more than just your physical form. Holistic health is about your total body health, inside and out. The cannabis store has become as important to me as the gym. The exercise equipment gets my body in shape, but I rely on recreational marijuana to give my soul a workout. You know what the best thing is about recreational cannabis? It allows me to truly relax, and let go of the stresses of the day. Stress clouds my mind, and enhances negative emotions, and smoking a little recreational cannabis allows me to reframe those emotions into a more positive direction. Thanks to the friends I made down at the cannabis store, I now am actively engaged in doing yoga. Yoga is a kind of exercise that benefits from using recreational cannabis, to allow a connection between mind and body. You can do yoga without recreational weed, of course, but I never do.
