For my podcast, I rely quite heavily on weed.
I had no idea how heavily I relied on it until a few weeks ago, when I ran out.
I have not run dry on weed in a couple of years, because I have a couple of different sources for it. When my glass jar starts to run low I place an order for a new bag, so my jar is never completely empty. Well, one of my reliable dealers got married and his wife made him quit the business. The other guy was out of product, having sold it all the previous week. I was forced to go for ten days with no cannabis at all! This is when I realized how much my podcast needs cannabis to function. Without marijuana to fuel my creativity it is 10 times harder to write, record, and produce an episode of my show. It’s so funny to me that people say cannabis makes you lazy, when quite the opposite is true in my case. I tend to get lazy and worthless only when I don’t have access to cannabis! I wish there were legal cannabis shops in this state, but there are none. Medical cannabis is available but is tightly restricted, and requires a large amount of paperwork. Eventually the voters will win, and overturn the draconian and outdated cannabis laws, and then I will never face this issue again. In the meantime I will try to be patient and work through this dry spell until I can get another fat sack of cannabis.
