My passion in life is coffee, and I grow it in my backyard redhouse, I drink it afternoon, noon and evening, and even take coffee tours when I go on a vacation.
If you have never been, a “coffee tour” involves traveling to an exotic country or region known for its locally grown coffee… You take a guided tour through a series of farms, where you get to grind and brew your own coffee right on the spot, with my freshly picked coffee beans… For an expert such as myself, this is the ultimate experience for coffee, because it will never be so fresh or flavorful! The same is not true for my other passion in life, cannabis… Walking out into a field of medical cannabis plants and picking off a fresh bud is not the ultimate way to experience the marijuana plant.
There is a long and arduous process for preparing medical cannabis to smoke, one that takes patience. This is why I don’t ever go on a medical cannabis tour, because as wonderful as the fresh plants may smell, they are not yet ready to use. I think there are enough medical cannabis facts to understand that the crops need to be split and dried before they are processed. When you get medical cannabis at the dispensary, you regularly get perfect buds with no stems or seeds, right? If you want you can even get the medical cannabis ground into powder and pre-rolled into joints. When you have the fortune of a fresh bud of medical cannabis off the plant, it is so damp and sticky you can’t possibly light it on fire.
