Since the legal cannabis industry was booming at that time and I was a user myself, it felt like a dream thinking about becoming a marijuana grower some day. Coming from a background in cross breeding exotic cacti, I was fascinated by the process of creating new cannabis genetics by using more than one or more plants as parents. One of my all time favorite strains of cannabis is the hybrid Girl Scout Cookies which is a cross of OG Kush and Durban Poison. It’s famous for all of the cannabis cookies genetics that are popular throughout the legal cannabis world, especially in my home state of all places. I eventually realized my dream and became a marijuana grower, however by the time I finished school my home state legalized weed. That meant I didn’t need to move out west to get a task in the legal cannabis industry.
