Technically what I did was against the law. If I was just a common drug dealer, I could see how people might look down on me for doing it, but I regret nothing! This was in the middle of the pandemic a few years ago, and everyone was scared by the quarantine. I had closed my shop weeks before, so I was struggling financially, but I knew many of my clients were struggling with physical and mental issues. I don’t just manage the local cannabis dispensary, I take an interest in the health of my clients. I reached out to a few of my older and sicker medical cannabis patients to check on them. I told them that since they had a valid medical need for their cannabis, I would deliver it to them personally. To be clear – this was illegal. Since the state had shut down the cannabis dispensary I could be fined heavily for still operating during the quarantine. That didn’t matter to me as much as being able to generate a little income, and help these sick elderly folks with the cannabis they needed. I wasn’t making trips to the college campus to sell cannabis to the fraternities (although I was tempted). All I did was take medical cannabis to cancer patients, and little old ladies who needed it for their glaucoma. I was doing public service, and I am proud of my actions. After the quarantine was over, my cannabis dispensary was more successful than ever. I like to think it’s because of my good karma.
