When the celebration was over, I could not get the smell of marijuana out of my room.
My parents went away for the weekend and they told me that I could not have any friends over. I told them not to worry because I was going to follow all of their rules… That was particularly not the truth… While I was telling my parents that I was going to follow the rules, I was also making plans for my friends to arrive with plenty of beer and alcohol. I invited a dozen people to the celebration and a couple of people from university showed up that I did not invite, then one of those people had a marijuana joint. They were going to smoke the marijuana joint in the residing room and I told them to go outside. They ended up downstairs in the basement where my room is located. When the celebration was over, I could not get the smell of marijuana out of my room. I knew that I was going to be completely busted if I did not figure out a way to get the smell of marijuana out of the house. I called a cleaning lady and I used all of my birthday money to get someone in the apartment to desmellize and disinfect. I paid $250 for the cleaning service and they still did not get the smell of marijuana out of the house, then as soon as my mom came through the doors, she smelled the marijuana, she did not even bother waiting to see if I was going to come up with an explanation. She knew that I was caught and it was better for me to stay quiet instead of making things a lot worse.
