My Grandma was the one who first introduced me to smoking pot, it wasn’t her intent to do that, of course, although I found out her secret, and the only way she could keep me quiet was to make me part of the secret.
It started late one evening in the middle of summer, but the Olympics were on TV, grandma was still out in the garden.
I went to find her, to get her inside to watch cable with me, and I saw her tending an unquestionably suspicious looking plant. I was only 14 at the time, although I still recognized a cannabis plant when I saw one! Of course this was not legal medical cannabis, this was some unquestionably illegal homegrown stuff and I knew it, but she asked me not to rat her out to the rest of the family, and I asked her to let me try smoking some medical cannabis, so we came to an arrangement. I came to learn that grandma had been growing and smoking medical cannabis since she was my age, and you all might think she was a poor grandparent for smoking out her 14 year old grandchild, however to her medical cannabis was normal! There were rules, of course, and if she ever caught me messing with her medical cannabis when she wasn’t around she would whip me with a belt. I obeyed her rules and kept her secret, and for the next 10 years she and I would consistently sneak away to smoke medical cannabis together! No one else ever knew about it!
