I agreed to work an extra shift next Tuesday night, so our buddy Bob can have the morning off.
- Bob was originally tied up to task at the marijuana dispensary from 6:00 p.m.
until 11:00 p.m. Bob asked for me to cover his shift that day so he could do something with his girlfriend for their 1 year anniversary. It’s regularly great to do someone like Bob a favor, so I said “hell yeah.” I already have to task from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. that morning on our own shift plus after that I have to task for Bob. The extra overtime hours will be nice. I was already getting close to 40 before the double shift on Tuesday night which will put myself and others over on hours for the week. Tuesday is 1 of the busiest afternoons of the month at the recreational marijuana dispensary, so I suppose the time will go very fast. When the morning is busy the time regularly moves quickly. Sometimes I check the clock plus hours have passed even though it only feels like minutes. There are absolutely some sweet perks to having a busy shift, especially when it’s going to be a long 1. Bob’s going to owe myself and others a favor after this plus I will entirely use it near Christmas when I want an extra morning off from the recreational plus medical marijuana store. My parents are going to come to village for a visit plus I will entirely want more than 2 afternoons off during that week. I can request time off plus then Bob can cover any extra shift that I will need.
