My friends and I planned to go catch and release fishing on the lake last weekend; the weather was supposed to be clear and free of clouds or rain… I diagnosed the weather everyday and then on Monday, there was rain in the forecast for early on Tuesday afternoon.
I proposed simply doing something else with our time, but Jack insisted that the boat would be fine! Then both of us got to the marina around six in the afternoon and the sunshine was just starting to show.
I did not guess we would have any rain. Then the clouds rolled in and it was dark and wet before we even put our pole in the water. I had a jacket and windbreaker on, but I was still pretty cold. I planned to go inside and roll us up some marijuana joints to smoke. The guys did not know that I was freezing and rolling joints was a good excuse. They definitely seemed ecstatic that I was going to roll up some marijuana joints. I spent about thirty minutes rolling sixmarijuana joints for the rest of the day. By the time I was simply done, the weather had changed. It was still really cloudy, but at least it stopped raining. Both of us enjoyed 1 of the joints that I rolled up for us and then the fish started biting. Both of us caught a couple of pretty big striped bass and 1 giant largemouth bass that could have been trophy size. I took another couple of pictures before I threw the fish back into the water. My roomie never would have trusted myself and others about the size of that fish.
