I remember back when I was in college and cannabis wasn’t legal. We constantly had to worry about getting in trouble for having marijuana and our dorm rooms at college. While the campus police tended to look the other way, they weren’t against handing students over to the county sheriff’s department in case there was an issue at the school. We all dreamed of the day when cannabis would finally be legal in our state in some capacity. However, it wouldn’t be at least another 5 years before our state would finally get the chance to have medical marijuana available. It took two attempts and trying to pass a law to legalize medical cannabis before it finally became a reality in the state. It’s been 6 years since the first medical marijuana dispensary opened back then you could only order by phone and get a delivery sent to your house. Now there are marijuana dispensaries and almost every town and city in the entire state. Thinking of all sorts of products as well, such as cannabis flower products, cannabis oil and inhalation products like vaporizer cartridges. Some of the cannabis dispensaries offered discounts around the clock for veterans and people who are on stamps. The average price of cannabis products has also gone down in the state since medical marijuana was first legalized 6 years ago. In some states cannabis prices have gone up along with inflation on practically everything else.
