When medical marijuana passed in this state, I was pretty happy.
First, I was happy that there were those out there who could now get medical marijuana benefits for a myriad of conditions. That was why I voted for it in the first place. But I also was hoping that this would be the first step to decriminalizing cannabis products in general. This was a selfish perspective that came from wanting to have access to a cannabis dispensary. But as it turned out, I ended up being one of those people who really did need the medical marijuana benefits as it pertains to pain. From almost out of the blue, I ended up experiencing a level of pain that was just hideous. Initially, I thought that maybe I had over done it at the gym or something. For the most part, I’m in pretty good shape and live a clean sort of lifestyle. So when the pain first started, I thought it was temporary. Yet, the pain kept on and only intensified. Having some knowledge about the medical marijuana benefits, I learned how to get a medical marijuana card. Once I started treating with cannabis flower products, the pain was much easier to manage. I’ve been using cannabis products for nearly six months now and the level of pain has diminished a great deal. This wouldn’t be happening if I didn’t have access to the legal weed store. I’m just so thankful that I don’t have to rely on some heavy medication with tons of side effects. Instead, I get better and better with a natural source of pain management in medical cannabis.
