Providing cannabis for the sick and elderly

For the last 4 years I have worked behind the counter at the local cannabis dispensary… When I first started here, it was only legal for medical purposes.

A lot of our task was on the PC, entering the insurance information for our clients, adding them to the state and federal databases, and contacting doctors. The people I was with and I had to jump through a lot of hoops just to get sick people then medicine they needed. It was a boring task, but it made me guess wonderful to suppose I was fighting the corrupt proposal to help people get the cannabis they needed. Then the laws changed, and recreational cannabis use became legal, and the whole task changed. Things are better now, don’t get me wrong, but it isn’t as rewarding selling cannabis to dumb school kids as it is providing help to the sick and elderly. The people I was with and I still have most of our outdated customers, and that is where our priority lays, but recreational cannabis has made our business more successful than I ever dreamed. I may mock the school kids, but they consume an insane amount of cannabis, and I will sell a full ounce to some of these kids every single week. I suspect some of them are cutting the weight up into individual grams and selling the cannabis to their friends. That isn’t entirely our problem, so long as they have the right ID and paperwork to purchase cannabis what they do with it is their business. I am just blissful they spend so much currency, so I can keep our focus on providing cannabis to the sick and elderly.
