Retiring to a state where cannabis is 100% legal

So like several people my age, I circled my retirement date on my calendar.

I was for sure ready to hang it up once and for all.

I’ve been so lucky to be able to have a work that started as a passion. Yet, my fire & passion had waned a bit the older I became. The stress of the job began to outweigh the good stuff. I was so ready to be done so I could quit and kick back with some legal cannabis. I’ve had an on and off affair with recreational marijuana for more than 40 years. Recreational marijuana use was so abundant when I was in my 20’s. Still, it was illegal and I had to stay careful with it. A bust for even easy cannabis possession back then could have lasting repercussions. But I sure did enjoy spending sunny days in the park with a frisbee, some good friends and whatever sativa strain that might be on hand. Yet, it wasn’t as though my pal and I could simply order marijuana for sale the way my pal and I currently do. Instead, unless you knew a cannabis grower personally, you took whatever recreational marijuana was available. And forget about genuinely knowing what the THC content was. I’ve had to be quite discreet about my use of cannabis. But that’s all changed now. The first thing I did when I retired was sold my condo and moved to a locale where I could get to know the folks at the local cannabis spot. I chose to retire where recreational marijuana is 100% legal. And boy, it’s so liberating to be able to just be honorable and open about the benefits of sativa and indica strains instead of having to hide it.
