I recently took a trip out west to visit the distant coast. While I’ve seen much of the country, this was poised to be my first view of the mighty blue ocean and I wanted to make the most of it. My lady wasn’t nearly as happy as I, unfortunately, because she has made trips such as this yearly since she was a toddler. Her parents worked in the military and were regularly traveling and moving all over the country through her entire childhood. She never really got to settle in one arena for longer than 3 years at a time. It’s hard to make real friends and maintain the same ones when you are moving that much as a kid. So for her, of course coming out to the ocean enjoy this is nothing special whatsoever. On the one hand, I realize the people I was with and I are going to see a state park to go hiking and she’s never even been to it before, even though she’s been through this section in the past. We’re also feeling very happy to be going to see this state’s legal medical cannabis dispensaries. The many people I was with and I both have medical cannabis cards in our house state so the place we’re going to see lets us purchase as “reciprocal medical cannabis patients.” It’s a good plan in the arena here and allows anyone from out of state to purchase here as long as they currently possess a medical cannabis card in their own state. Otherwise, you would need to secure a medical cannabis card for this state. Eventually we’re going to see recreational cannabis becoming legal across the board, but it could take years before that’s the case. I sincerely suppose that the Supreme Court is the last governing body that will legalize cannabis for any adult recreational use at the federal level.
