Twice each year, a group of my coworkers and I have to go to a seminar to learn more about our job.
The seminar is usually related to one specific topic.
A new type of polymer glue came out last April and there was a seminar to show everyone exactly how it worked. A couple of weeks ago, there was a seminar and a few of my coworkers and I were there. We had to drive to the location of the seminar. Last time we had a flight to the location, but the boss said that this location was only 6 hours away and the group of us could rent a minivan and drive together. We protested enough so the boss allowed us to get two cars instead of one. We traveled together to the location of the seminar. When my coworkers and I arrived, we got our rooms. I was on the 7th floor and I had a pretty good view of everything in the area. My coworkers were also on the 7th floor, but they were on the other side of the hall. I was happy to see that the hotel was close to a marijuana dispensary. As soon as I got to the city, the first thing that I wanted to do was look for recreational marijuana near me. We had driven to a different state and this was a place with legal recreational marijuana laws. I wanted to take advantage of being able to buy marijuana. The place even delivered right to our hotel. I met the guy downstairs though, because I didn’t want my coworkers to know my business.
