I started sliding on the mud & I slammed on the brakes instead of applying them gently
Sunday was a really busy night at the marijuana dispensary & I worked until 1 a.m. The two of us stopped taking deliveries at 11 & the last driver left the store at 11:30. The marijuana delivery driver did not return until 12:45, however myself & various other employees were waiting for the driver to come back, because we cannot leave until all the people has returned to the building. I understand why that rule is in place & it keeps all the people safe. I have no problem waiting around for the delivery drivers to come back to the building. I was really sleepy & hungry & it was starting to rain. I really do not appreciate driving in the rain. That is a single of the reasons why I do not work as a delivery driver. I could drive all day & all night if the weather was clear, even though I am a wreck as soon as it starts raining. I was trying to get back to my home before the rain started, however it was already coming down taxing when I left the store. I traveled as slowly as possible on the back roads. They were already wet & muddy. There were potholes all over the road & I thought I was going to lose a tire. I made it all the way up the mountain without getting into an accident, however as soon as I got into my own driveway, things changed. I started sliding on the mud & I slammed on the brakes instead of applying them gently. I slammed right into the mailbox & took it out completely.
