Tuesday is actually a busy day at the cannabis shop. We have regular sales in the morning on cannabis flowers and concentrates. We also receive all of our inventory on Tuesday mornings. Our regular customers know when the shipment arrives. We often run out of infused marijuana joints. I have people waiting outside for the shipment to arrive, so they can purchase more of the infused marijuana joints. Last Tuesday was no different. There were three people sitting outside on the sidewalk when I opened the front door with my key. The supply store driver had not arrived by the time I opened. I told everyone waiting in line about the lack of product. Two people got up and walked away. I guess they were only waiting on the infused marijuana joints. I waited and waited and the shipment didn’t arrive until noon. The delivery truck driver offered me no real reason for the delay. Many items were missing from the shipment as well. I had the invoice in my hand and I was going through each box with the list in my hand. After going through each item by item line, I realized that we were missing quite a bit of items. It seemed clear to me that the supply company didn’t send the right stuff. We were missing all of the infused marijuana joints and we didn’t get any flour from two of the manufacturers that usually send extra items. I found out from the manufacturing company that they had some problems fulfilling the order. It would have been nice if they had told me a few days ahead of time so I could have added other items to the order.
