You can get cannabis on the reservation

I live near an Indian reservation.

  • They kind of have their own laws there.

They aren’t subjected to taxes as well as they have their own police force. Now our state is technically a medical cannabis only state. Recreational weed isn’t allowed. The reservation has three dispensaries on it now. They are selling to the public currently. My whole family seems to assume that hastily recreational cannabis has come to our state. My dad in particular is convinced. She consistently says she can buy weed right in town for her anxiety. I hate to rain on her parade, but you can only get it on the reservation! What they are technically doing is illegal, but their police won’t charge them. It brings so much money into their community as well. Why would they change to follow the law? It is kind of nice that recreational weed can be purchased as well. My father would no way go to the dentist to get a medical weed card. She needs help with anxiety though. So she can absolutely grab some oil as well as a vape to help her concerns when it gets bad. My mother has purchased an oil that hse puts in her tea. It has helped with her menopaUSl symptoms as well as assists her in sleeping at night. I hate to support a company operating illegally but I have purchased. I needed a topical for pain after I got into a car accident. So while I am bitter they aren’t following the law, it undoubtedly is helpful that both of us have access to legal cannabis.
